| Claire joined us in April 2006 and has received a BTEC National Diploma in Early Years Level 3, SENCO, First Aid. |

| Mrs Marsden brings music to our Wednesday session. For half an hour before the end of the session the children are singing and dancing under Mrs Marsden’s direction and piano playing. |

Staff
We have two fully qualified and experienced playleaders. Staff receive regular and on-going training and have annual appraisals.

Parents
We rely on parents to help us in our sessions and have a parent rota in operation. This normally means that each parent attends a Pre-school session once every half-term, helping with projects, making drinks, helping to clear up at the end of the session.
This gives our parents an excellent insight into how their child is learning and also gives them an opportunity to chat to the playleaders and view their child’s workbook.

Ratio
Our registration allows us to have 24 children, but we limit this to a maximum of 18 and operate on a ratio of one adult to six children.

Special Needs
Our staff have received SENCO training, which is updated. We do ask all parents to fill in a registration form about their child and any special requirements they may have. This will include medical conditions, dietary requirements and any special educational needs. This information is kept confidential and on a need to know basis. The staff and committee will endeavour to work with you to ensure that we can give your child the best possible care in your absence.
